Sunderland boss Roy Keane says that Kenwyne Jones is currently the best striker in the Premier League.
And Keane believes the 23-year-old Trinidad and Tobago frontman should be valued in the £40m bracket!

"There is no doubt we have got the best striker in the Premier League at the moment in Kenwyne," he said.

"If they are on about certain strikers being worth £20million, then Kenwyne is worth £40million, without a doubt. I wouldn't swap him for any of them.

"He has really surprised us. We knew he was a talented lad, but he has knuckled down. Even last week, he was clearly not 100 per cent fit, but he is doing a great job for the team.

"Ultimately all these top players in the world we talk about going back over the years are also big team players.

"Kenwyne has done really well for us, I have to say."

He was class again today. Obviously, £40 million is over the top. If Berbatov is worth £20 million, so will Kenwyn before long if he can keep up this sort of form. It would take that sort of money for us to consider selling him if he keeps going the way he is. He was very good again today, I think the top 4 will see that and realise what he could do with decent players around him.

5, he's not an out and out goalscorer, more your Quinn than your Phillips, if you know what I mean. He is getting praised from all the pundits at the moment. I haven't said he is worth £40 million, I've only said he is a very good player.
